I am currently working on a diverse set of projects, and am responsible for designing, implementing and managing technical solutions for departments within the AUMC. This includes implementing software solutions for image processing, creating the possibility to process large amounts of research data, directing the implementation of medical/healthcare systems. Having a Linux oriented background, I work in both Linux and Windows environments. I am part of a big team of engineers, analists, solution architects and other specialists.

Interests

Apart from being a computer engineer, I spend most of my time doing sports. In winter I sculpture in stone, hack, boulder indoors, and build things. In summer I bike, hike and look for adventure.

Hackerspaces have had a lot of influence on my view on what "good software" actually is. I try to support the opensource movement.
